How & Where to Vote

Voting in New Baltimore is straightforward and accessible. Here’s how to cast your ballot:

  • Election Day Voting: Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Election Day. If you’re in line by 8:00 PM, you’ll still be able to vote. Bring a valid photo ID (e.g., Michigan driver’s license or state ID) or sign an affidavit if you don’t have one.
  • Polling Locations: New Baltimore has designated precincts for in-person voting. Find your assigned polling place by checking your voter registration status at Michigan.gov/Vote or contacting the City Clerk’s Office at 586-725-2151, ext. 108. Common polling sites include City Hall (36535 Green St.) and local schools—confirm your location ahead of time!
  • What to Expect: Check in with poll workers, receive your ballot, and use a private booth to vote. Insert your completed ballot into the tabulator yourself for secure counting.
