Small Business Town Hall 2022

Mayor Tom Semaan of New Baltimore, MI, has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting small businesses by collaborating with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), US Small Business Administration (SBA) and State Senator Kevin Hertel to host a Small Business Town Hall. This initiative, held in New Baltimore, aimed to connect local entrepreneurs and small business owners with valuable resources and opportunities.

By partnering with the MEDC and Senator Hertel, who represents Michigan’s 12th Senate District, Semaan facilitated discussions with experts from organizations such as the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program. These town halls provided a platform for business owners to access capital, networking, and skill-building opportunities, fostering economic growth and reinforcing New Baltimore’s welcoming environment for small businesses under Semaan’s leadership.
